Kevin Murphy, Director

Kevin brings to MVS his extensive knowledge of the North American food industry including nearly 20 years at Ocean Spray Cranberries and his reputation as a strong strategic marketer. In 1996, Promo Magazine named him Marketer of the Year for his dedication to building brand equity and for his creative drive in developing and supporting cutting edge consumer marketing programs. Brand Week Magazine named him a Marketer of the Year in 1998.

As chief operating officer of Ocean Spray, Murphy was instrumental in Ocean Spray’s growth from a $400 million company to a $1.5 billion retail and foodservice enterprise. Under his direction, the Ocean Spray brand became one of the most valued icons in the industry, and the company company gained a national reputation for developing innovative programs to build brand equity and influence consumer purchase behavior.
